Two Sites Owned by EpicVIN
The Bureau of Justice Assistance's list of approved NMVTIS providers is nested: an approved company is listed, with any additional websites it owns filed underneath. Vininspect.com and VinGurus.com are both filed under EpicVin.com. They sell reports containing NMVTIS data under EpicVIN's approval rather than an approval of their own.
VinGurus says as much in its footer: the site is owned and operated by EpicVIN Inc, an approved NMVTIS data provider. VinInspect's site put up a security check that blocked our reading, so beyond the Justice Department's ownership record we quote nothing about it.

What VinGurus Charges, and When It Refunds
VinGurus' FAQ prices the first report at $14.99, 4 reports at $25.17 ($6.29 each) and 16 at $86.34 ($5.40 each). EpicVIN's own site, when we read it on 2026-08-30, sold differently: No single report. $1 three-day trial then $99.99/month, or 16 reports for $86.34 ($5.40 each).
Its refund policy allows requests within 14 days of purchase. It lists an empty report and a double charge as valid reasons, and a report that was not accurate or contained errors as not valid. Refunds take 5–7 business days to post.
