The whole billing policy in one sentence
You pay a single one-time fee of $14.99 for the report you choose — no subscription, no auto-renewal, and no hidden fees, ever.
One-time payment, nothing recurring
CarCheckerVIN (carcheckervin.com) sells vehicle history reports as a one-off digital purchase. When you buy a report, you are charged once, for that report, at the price shown before checkout. We do not run subscriptions, memberships, free trials that convert to paid, or any form of recurring billing. We do not store your card to charge it again. There is nothing to cancel because there is nothing that renews.
Optional multi-report bundles (for people who check several cars) are also a single upfront payment. A bundle grants prepaid report credits you can use when you like — it is not a subscription and it does not auto-renew.
What the charge looks like on your statement
A CarCheckerVIN purchase typically appears on your bank or card statement as CARCHECKERVIN.COM. The exact wording can vary slightly depending on your bank and payment processor, but it will be a single charge for the report you bought. If you ever see a charge you do not recognize, email us at contact@carcheckervin.com and we will identify it for you and resolve it quickly.
We are not the “lookalike” sites
Because our name resembles other vehicle-lookup websites, some reviews and automated summaries mistakenly group us together. To be unambiguous: CarCheckerVIN is an independent US company operated by Coconut Ventures LLC, based at 412 W 7th St, Clovis, NM 88101. We are not affiliated with, owned by, or connected to car-checking.com, checkcar.vin, or any other similarly-named service. Their billing practices, reviews, subscriptions, and policies are theirs alone and do not apply to CarCheckerVIN. If you read a complaint about “recurring charges” on one of those sites, it is not about us.
Refunds
If the data in your report does not match the vehicle identified by the VIN you submitted, we issue a refund. Full details and how to submit a claim are on our Refund Policy page.
