What a Acura Window Sticker Tells You
On an Acura the sticker lists the trim and packages, each option's price, and the dealer the car was first delivered to, which helps when a listing's trim name doesn't match the equipment.
EPA's 2026 file has 5 Acura models: four gasoline, from the MDX at 19–22 MPG to the Integra at 24–32 MPG, and the electric ZDX at 83–91 MPGe.
Gaps in a Acura window sticker
- Accident records: none; it's a new-car document.
- Ownership: it names a dealer, not owners.
- Title history: check it separately, by VIN.
- Later parts: anything added after delivery is missing.

Where to Get a Acura Window Sticker Now
MonroneyLabels.com lists VIN-specific Acura data from the 1992 model year, at $9.99 a sticker. VIN Analytics' brand list does not include Acura either. A car built for sale outside the US usually has no US sticker on file at either.
With the paperwork in hand, a free replica does the job for a sale listing: the VIN fills the decoder fields and you add the Acura's prices.
Acura VIN Prefixes (WMI)
The 6 prefixes below are filed under a parent company, but NHTSA's decoder names Acura as a make for every one of them.
| WMI | Makes NHTSA lists | Manufacturer | Vehicle type |
|---|---|---|---|
| JH4 | Acura | Honda Motor Co., Ltd. | Passenger car |
| 19U | Acura | American Honda Motor Co., Inc. | Passenger car |
| 19V | Acura | American Honda Motor Co., Inc. | Passenger car |
| 5KC | Acura | American Honda Motor Co., Inc. | Passenger car |
| 5J8 | Acura | American Honda Motor Co., Inc. | MPV (SUV, crossover) |
| 2HN | Acura | Honda of Canada Mfg. | MPV (SUV, crossover) |
NHTSA vPIC (DecodeWMI), read 23 October 2026. Shared prefixes need the rest of the VIN, or the sticker, to name the make.
What Federal Law Puts on the Sticker
A window sticker is a legal document before it is a sales sheet. Since 1958, 15 U.S.C. § 1232 has required one on every new car: identification and VIN, assembly point, dealer and delivery city, the MSRP, option prices, the transport charge and total, and NHTSA's safety stars. Under § 1233, removing or changing it before delivery can bring a $1,000 fine and up to a year in jail per vehicle. Once the Acura is delivered, keeping the label is up to the owner.

NHTSA's decoder lists Acura as the make for JH4 under Honda Motor Co. in Japan, 19U, 19V, 5KC and 5J8 under American Honda Motor Co., and 2HN under Honda of Canada Mfg.
Honda's own prefixes sit under the same companies, so the make column is what tells an Acura from a Honda before you read the sticker.
Original Acura Sticker vs a Free Replica
Pay when you need the factory figures. A replica is fine when you have them already.

Where These Facts Come From
The label rules come from the US Code, the ratings from EPA, the VIN prefixes from NHTSA, and the sellers' coverage from their own pages.
Read on 23 October 2026. EPA adds versions to a model year as they are rated, and sellers change coverage, so check both before relying on a figure. CarCheckerVIN is not affiliated with Acura, MonroneyLabels.com or VIN Analytics.
