Oregon License Plate to VIN Lookup

The interesting question is not what the plate says but when it stops being true, which in Oregon is a fixed cycle. Regular passenger registration is valid for two years. Vehicles inside the Portland-metro and Medford-Ashland testing boundaries must pass a DEQ emissions test every two years before the registration can be renewed.
