Quick Answer

How much is a 2026 Toyota Camry?
$29,600 for the LE on toyota.com, then SE $32,100, Nightshade $33,100, XLE $34,800, XSE $36,000. These are base MSRPs; Toyota's delivery, processing and handling fee, options, tax and dealer fees come on top.
Is every 2026 Camry a hybrid?
Yes. EPA lists only hybrid versions of the 2026 Camry. Toyota rates the system at 225 net-combined horsepower with front-wheel drive and 232 with all-wheel drive, and says all five grades are available with either.
How much more is the 2027 Camry?
$100 per trim: the 2027 LE is $29,700 and the 2027 XSE $36,100 on toyota.com. If a dealer still has a 2026, that's the starting point for negotiating.

Fuel Economy by Version (EPA)

EPA rates five versions of the 2026 Camry hybrid. The front-wheel-drive LE is the most efficient.

Which Trim Is the Value Pick

The LE is the cheapest and, by EPA's numbers, the most efficient: 51 mpg combined with front-wheel drive, against 43 for an all-wheel-drive XSE. Moving up to the SE costs $2,500, and the Nightshade is $1,000 more than the SE.

The XLE and XSE top the range at $34,800 and $36,000. All five grades can be ordered with all-wheel drive, Toyota says, which raises the system output from 225 to 232 horsepower and costs a little mileage.

Before you sign

  • Delivery fee: Toyota adds it to every new car; ask for it in writing.
  • All-wheel drive: priced separately; check Toyota's build tool.
  • Leftover 2026s: a $100 gap is a floor, not a ceiling.
  • Add-ons: dealer-installed extras can outweigh the trim difference.

2026 vs 2027 Camry Prices

Toyota moved every trim up by the same $100 for 2027, so the ladder keeps its shape.

Safety Rating and Recalls

NHTSA gives the 2026 Camry Hybrid 5 stars overall in both front- and all-wheel-drive form, with 5 stars for frontal crash, 5 for side crash and 5 for rollover.

It also lists 3 recalls that include the 2026 Camry Hybrid: 25V744000, for Panoramic View Monitor display (certain 2022–2026 Toyota, Lexus and Subaru Solterra vehicles with that camera system); 25V869000, for a bolt inside the hybrid inverter that may not have been tightened properly (certain 2025–2026 Camry Hybrid and 2026 Corolla Cross Hybrid vehicles); 26V511000, for an instrument cluster display that may fail at startup, deactivating the hazard lights (certain 2025–2026 Camry Hybrid vehicles). NHTSA files these under "Camry Hybrid", so a search for just "Camry" can miss them. Recalls apply to certain VIN ranges, so check the car you're buying.
