Mercedes-Benz Window Sticker by VIN — Where the Original Comes From.
A Mercedes-Benz window sticker lists the MSRP, every option and package with its price, the final assembly point and EPA fuel economy. On a used Mercedes the options are where the money is, so the sticker is worth finding. MonroneyLabels.com has VIN-specific Mercedes-Benz data from the 2008 model year, VIN Analytics lists Mercedes-Benz, and our free maker builds a replica. This page adds the 2026 EPA ratings and NHTSA's Mercedes VIN prefixes.

- What does a Mercedes-Benz window sticker show?

- It depends on the model: EPA's 2026 file rates the C-Class at 22–29 MPG, the GLC at 22–27 MPG, and the electric CLA at 109–126 MPGe with up to 374 miles of range. EPA's file classes most 2026 gasoline Mercedes models as hybrids.

What a Mercedes-Benz Window Sticker Tells You
On a Mercedes-Benz, two cars of the same model and year can differ widely in options, and the sticker is the one document that lists each option with its price. It is the cleanest way to confirm a package a seller is charging for.
The 2026 range also mixes powertrains more than most: EPA's file lists 49 Mercedes versions as hybrids, 4 electric models and a plug-in E-Class, alongside a few gasoline-only versions of the AMG GT, CLA-Class, S-Class and SL-Class.
What the Mercedes-Benz label can't tell you
- Damage: it was printed before the car was sold.
- Who owned it: no owners appear on it.
- Title problems: salvage or flood brands are filed by VIN.
- Mileage: it carries no odometer reading.

Where to Get a Mercedes-Benz Window Sticker Now
Start with the model year. MonroneyLabels.com's Mercedes-Benz data begins at 2008, and a sticker costs $9.99. VIN Analytics sells Mercedes-Benz stickers at $9.99 as well, original or replica depending on what it holds for the VIN. Neither can produce a US sticker for a car that was never sold new in the US.
For a listing, a replica built from the Mercedes-Benz's paperwork is usually enough, and ours costs nothing.

What Federal Law Puts on the Sticker
The rules are short. Section 1232 of title 15 tells carmakers what to print on a new Mercedes-Benz: make, model and VIN; where it was finally assembled; which dealer it went to and in what city; the MSRP, each option and its price, the transport charge and the total; and NHTSA's star ratings if assigned. Section 1233 sets fines of up to $1,000 per car for leaving the label off, and up to a year in jail for anyone who strips or alters it before the buyer takes the car.

In EPA's 2026 file, 49 of the 76 Mercedes-Benz versions carry the hybrid classification, including the C-Class, GLC, GLE and S-Class. The table above prints EPA's own classification rather than relabelling it.
Whatever the classification, the window sticker's fuel economy label shows the city, highway and combined figures for that exact version, with the annual fuel cost. Match the version on the sticker to the right row before comparing two cars.

Where These Facts Come From
The label rules come from the US Code, the ratings from EPA, the VIN prefixes from NHTSA, and the sellers' coverage from their own pages.
Read on 23 October 2026. EPA adds versions to a model year as they are rated, and sellers change coverage, so check both before relying on a figure. CarCheckerVIN is not affiliated with Mercedes-Benz, MonroneyLabels.com or VIN Analytics.
